Description

Gauge-Adj Fillet Weld Pat Metric – GAL #03M

The Gauge-Adj Fillet Weld Pat (Metric) provides a simple and accurate way to measure fillet weld size using one compact tool. Welders and inspectors use this gauge to check weld dimensions quickly during fabrication and inspection. It removes the need for multiple gauge blades and keeps measurements consistent across jobs.

This gauge measures fillet weld leg length across a wide range with fine accuracy. The adjustable design allows users to check weld sizes using a single gauge rather than switching between multiple fixed blades. This improves efficiency and reduces the chance of losing individual gauge pieces.

The gauge uses an offset arm that slides at a 45° angle. Users adjust the arm until it touches the toe of the vertical leg. The scale provides a direct reading of the weld size. The arm locks in position using screws, allowing repeat measurements without resetting each time.

The gauge also measures weld throat thickness. A pointer can be adjusted to the required position for quick reference. This helps users confirm if the weld meets required throat size. If the weld is concave, the gauge helps identify where additional filler may be required to meet specification.

Made from stainless steel. This provides strength, durability and resistance to corrosion. It performs reliably in workshop and site conditions. The etched markings remain clear and easy to read during regular use.

The compact design fits easily into a pocket or toolbox. It is lightweight and easy to carry, making it suitable for on-site inspection and daily use in fabrication shops.

The Gauge-Adj Fillet Weld Pat (Metric) measures both fillet weld leg length and throat thickness with one tool. It provides a practical and efficient solution for maintaining weld accuracy and consistency across fabrication work.
