Internal Fit-Up Clamp
The Internal Fit-Up Clamp helps pipefitters and welders align pipes and flanges during welding preparation. Operators insert the clamp inside the pipe to hold components in the correct position before welding. It fits pipe sizes in the 24 mm to 32 mm range (approximately 1″–1.5″), making it suitable for small-diameter piping systems used in fabrication, maintenance, and industrial installations.
Users commonly apply this clamp when fitting standard weld neck and slip-on flanges. The tool holds the pipe and flange in proper alignment while the welder prepares the joint. Accurate alignment helps reduce weld defects, improves joint quality, and saves time during fabrication and installation.
The clamp features an independent adjustment system that allows users to align parts even when internal pipe dimensions vary slightly. This adjustment capability helps operators achieve a more precise fit when pipes or flanges do not match perfectly. The Internal Fit-Up Clamp functions as an alignment tool only. It does not support the full weight of the flange or pipe assembly. Operators should always use a separate lifting device to support the flange during installation.
