The UNIMIG Evolve AC/DC Module (U11147) expands your MIG machine with advanced TIG capability and enhanced AC MIG performance. It gives you the flexibility to weld a wider range of materials while improving control, efficiency, and weld quality.

This module adds high-frequency AC and DC TIG welding, allowing you to weld aluminium on AC and steel, stainless, and other metals on DC. The high-frequency start ignites the arc without contact, reducing contamination and improving arc stability from start to finish.

AC MIG functionality brings TIG-like control to MIG welding. You gain improved heat input and built-in cleaning action, ideal for aluminium work. Adjustable AC welding speed lets you control wire deposition during the cycle, helping you increase travel speed while maintaining a stable arc.

The system includes over 100 synergic programs. Simply select your material, wire size, and gas, and the machine sets optimal parameters. Single and double pulse MIG modes reduce heat input and spatter while maintaining strong penetration.

A large 5” LCD touchscreen provides a clear, user-friendly interface for fast setup and adjustments. The digital MIG torch adds convenience by allowing you to control amps, voltage, and current directly at the handle.

AC/DC TIG mode offers full versatility across materials including aluminium, magnesium, mild steel, stainless steel, copper, silicon bronze, and titanium. Mixed TIG combines AC and DC cycles, delivering faster speeds, deeper penetration, and improved performance on thicker or cold materials.

An optional foot pedal gives you real-time amperage control for greater precision during TIG welding.
