Description

The Intercon Aero2-Mat 4115 is an oxygen indicator for measuring oxygen content in a partial pressure gas environment. It is capable of resolution into the parts per million (ppm) region of oxygen content in this type of environment, typically argon. This device is a specialised gas analyser designed to measure oxygen content in partial pressure gas environments, such as those using argon.

Features

  • Utilises an electrode/electrolyte in solution to measure and rest oxygen levels
  • Capable of reading values from 100% (outside air) into the ppm region oxygen levels
  • The reading value is usually displayed within 5 minutes; this depends on the volume being purged
  • LCD display
  • No stabilisation time required

Therefore, operators should continuously monitor oxygen levels during welding to prevent quality failures caused by gas or purge issues. To accommodate this, the AeroMat 4115B comes complete with a probe for root gap inspections. During butt welding, operators can perform constant oxygen monitoring using the supplied bulkhead fitting.

Benefits

  • Useful for finding oxygen leaks
  • Quickly establish weld parameters
  • Portable: weighs 4.8 lbs
  • Complete weight with carrying case is 10 lbs
Key Features and Specifications:
  • Technology: Uses an electrode/electrolyte in solution to measure residual oxygen levels.
  • Measurement Range: Capable of reading from 100% (outside air) down to ppm levels.
  • Display: Features an LCD display.
  • Performance: The system requires no stabilization time and displays readings within 5 minutes, depending on the purged volume.
  • Application: Primarily used in tank construction, pipe manufacturing, and other industrial applications needing to detect oxygen levels in gas environments.
