The GAL #09A Skew-T Weld Gauge measures fillet welds on skewed joints. Standard fillet gauges work best on 90° T-fillet welds. Skewed fillets are harder to measure accurately. The Skew-T gauge solves this problem.
Fabricators and inspectors use this gauge when working with angled joints or non-square connections. It allows accurate measurement where traditional fillet gauges cannot reach or provide reliable readings.
